Fred Gorenz began his career with GM more than 35 years ago as a carpenter foreman. He is now President of the company, working directly with owners, developers, architectural and engineering firms and our internal team to deliver projects on time and within budget. His unique insights, endless energy and enthusiasm, and strong sense of doing right by our customers have been instrumental in making the company what it is today.
Monet Canter
is Chief Operating Officer. Monet joined GM in 2009. Prior to that Monet served on GM's Board Of Directors in a technical and management advisory position. She is responsible for business operations and brings big business experience to GMs home grown team.
Johnny Barton is Vice President of General Construction overseeing projects to completion and supervisiing our Project Management and Superintendent staffs. He has been with GM for more than 13 years and has 27 years of construction experience.
Steve Collins is Vice President of Estimating. With more than 30 years of estimating experience, Steve's focus is on providing Owners with the best value for their construction investment. He encourages Owners to involve GM early in a project's development process in order to achieve cost and time savings and is known for attention to detail.
Open - Vice President of Construction Management. Fred and Monet are currently filling this position. With Fred's technical expertise and Monet's administration expertise they are responsible for Owner's Representative Services working with public and private organizations to achieve program, project, and construction goals.
Jennifer Deal, CCIFP, is Vice President of Finance. Jennifer has been with us for 11 years and has been instrumental in establishing our sound financial systems and leading edge technologies.
Chris McMahan is Vice President of Marketing and Business Development and has been with GM for 5 years. Chris has been successsful in opening up new markets for GM and contributing widely to our growth.
